Preop Monday....Surgery Wednesday
Ok so I probably will not be online again until after surgery so I figured Id post before I have it to maybe get a few prayers :) I have my preop appt in the morning, then surgery wednesday morning. The nervousness/scaredness/excitement ha**** me like a bag of rocks. The fear of the unknown is always the worst! But I have faith everything will go just fine! But still a few extra prayers wouldn't hurt ;) Thanks and wish me luck!! Kel
You're gonna do great!! On the day of my surgery I was so excited I was downright giddy. There was a long wait for me between being preped for surgery and having the surgery. So, once the IV was in my hand the nurse kept giving me a sedative to shut me up. That dern sedative kept wearing off so she'd give me some more. I loved it! I wanted to chat with everyone. I think the sedative simply took away whatever inhibitions I had left.
Prayers coming your way! Let us know when you get home. Do you have your earplugs packed? The hospital is noisy - machines beeping, the nurses talking at the nurses station, etc.
