Day 4
...off the carbs train, pretty much. I've scaled WAY back on the carbs/sugar and have almost quit snacking altogether. Well, first of all and most importantly, I feel better. Gone is the middle of the day "drag" that has plauged me for the past couple of months, I also feel like my engergy level has increased. Also, because I'm a numbers guy, I'm back at goal after bouncing between 202-205 for the past few weeks! 200.4 this morning!!!! I'm also not so blasted HUNGRY mid-morning and after supper! Dalton was right...carbs ARE evil! LOL Now, how about 195? Hmmmm.

Like Dalton, I believe carbs are the evil monster. I find that the only way I can maintain is by limiting my carbs to about 40 grams a day. I don't care if they are healthy carbs or not, they do me in every time and I just can't take that many of them without feeling terrible and gaining weight. Good work on day 4, it does get better and easier. You have pretty much de-toxed yourself by now. Eat more protein and those cravings will be GONE! There is even a low-carb grads group on Yahoo groups who can share their experiences and recipes with you. Have you ever tried Minute Muffins? Might be best to wait a while but they are carb "legal" and downright tasty!
