Prayers needed please

Hi all. I know I don't really post much anymore but I do read the boards almost daily. I need your prayers for my son, Brandon. He is 15 years old and has been having "seizure like" episodes on and off for a little over a year. We have had him to several doctors but haven't been able to pinpoint what the problem is. They are now occurring on an almost daily basis and because of this, we have had to take him out of school and he is now being home schooled until we can figure out what is going on. He is not a happy camper. We do have an appointment with a neurologist down at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem on March 13th. I am praying that they will be able to find out what is happening here.

He had one of these episodes last night and it is a scary thing to watch. I am really stressed over all this. He is my only child and if something happened to him, I really don't think I could live thru it. He told me the other day that he felt like if they didn't find out what is wrong with him soon, he would be dead by summer. It about tore my heart out. I have had to go to my PCP and get on some anti-depressants. My nerves are shot at this point.

Sorry to ramble on. Thanks in advance for all thoughts and prayers.

I will definitely keep Brandon and you in my prayers. What a heartbreaking situation. I really pray that the neurologist will find out what's wrong and it will be easily fixable. I will also be praying for you and your health. Please keep us posted.

I can only imagine your pain as you watch your son go through such difficulties. I hope and will pray that G-d will guide him to safety. Wishing you both the strength that you will need to get through this trying time.

You must be eaten up with worry over this. I can't even imagine. Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC is another well known medical center you might try if you don't get an answer from Winston-Salem. Good luck. Sending prayers your way.
