Two Weeks To Go!

So today I started my first day of my two week liquid diet. It was a little harder than I thought it would be. I bought an electric tea pot and took it to work. I drank lots and lots of herbal tea and water. I have one more Opti Fast to drink tonight.

Tomorow I go for my final appointment. My surgery is two weeks from today. I can not believe I am finally here!

Bekah, I start the liquid diet tomorrow. Nice to know I won't be suffering alone!! Where do you get the Opti Fast? My program just says buy drinks that are high protien low carb. I have purchased Slim Fast low carb and EAS. My surgery is the 12th.  Where are you having yours?

Some doctors prescribe optifast. It is very expensive and the only way you can get it from Mission is to go thru the program. They are very picky about who they sell it to.  I take it you are having your surgery with Mission. they want you to do the slim fast or unjury because it has like 20 grams of protien and only 190 calories. Wish there was other flavors that you could get besides chocolate. Got the chocolate at Sam's club.

You and I have the same surgeon!  We are in very good hands with Dr. Chapman.  You've gonna do great!

It does get easier. I would drink the shakes everytime I got hungry when I was doing liquid. Are you doing 5/day.  I am dying right now because i am doing clear liquids. I had my lap band adjusted yesterday!!!!!

Woo hoo Bekah!!  I know you're excited and I'm excited for you!!!  Keep us posted!  I'm not far so let me know if you need anything...  I can always stop by on my way to or from work ya know!  I've got an appointment in Greenville the same day as your surgery so I may just show up with a smile!  Keep on drinking that stuff, it'll make things easier!

Yes! Please do stop by. You could meet my mom! She will be visiting from Florida for a week.

I am very excited but this whole Optifast thing sucks and I mean sucks bad. The shakes make me want to throw up and I really just want something to eat. I am going nuts. I can not wait until this part is over.
