Seasonal Allergy Question
Right now I'm nursing the start of my first cold of the season and that'll work itself out (eventually - if I live through it). But it has me thinking about the upcoming allergy season. What does everyone take? I don't have an appointment with my surgeon again until late in the season but I will be seeing my Primary doc fairly soon.

Iris,
I'm sorry you're not feeling well, I hate colds! I have terrible allergies and get shots every week to build up my immunity. I've taken various allergy medicines over the years, both pre-WLS and post-WLS. Right now the ones that are working for me are Allegra-D, Singulair and a nasal spray. I have allergy induced asthma also. As I said, I have terrible allergies so I have to take more than the average I think. I go to an allergist in Wilmington (Allergy Partners, Dr. Myers) and my Doctor is very good. I don't know how close you are to them but I do recommend them if you are nearby. Good luck!!!!! Feel better soon!!!

I'm not looking forward to the season much either. I have a prescription for Nasonex and I also take OTC Alevert. I use the quick dissolve tabs and I am sure they will do the trick when I need to have them again.
