Great day

I got home from work today about 3 pm and I thought I would call the insurance company.I was really thinking they were going to tell me that it was still under review since they said they were going to need another 2 weeks or so to review my case some more.I was going to have my surgery on the 16th but was told Dr Mitchells office was going to have to change it until the 26th or longer.But anyways I was told it was approved and the letter was sent out.I am going to call Dr mitchells office and see if it is still on for the 26th.I really hope it is. Thanks for everything.For as happy as I am today is as sad as i was on the 14th when I was denied.Just 3 day away. WOW

 I am glad you have that date set. I know I was floored when my insurance did not take six months to approve me. My Surgeons office called me the day after I had been approved and wanted me the next day for the RNY. I was taking asprin and had to wait but it was not so bad. All I can advise is that the first day or so is the worst of it all. Be sure and have a good LAST meal at some time. I think everyone does something like that. I could not gain any weight prior to mine so I settled for some really decent seafood in Atlanta the day before. I know you have to be stoked and will be more stoked when the scales go in reversal like some adnormal time machine and your body will begin to think more like a teenager rather than a middle aged person. The change is going to to worlds for your personal life as well and just adjusting to the different way of living is a doable challenge. Thursday will be the big day and you will hopefully never regret making this decision. My best to you.
