I was informed last night by DH that it seems to him that all I want to talk about is diet and exercise.
If the truth be know yeap that is my main focas other than trying to care for my family and my animals.
The way I look at it no body but me can do this.
I choose to have wls and knew from the start it would take 100% dedication on my part.
God gave me a second chance at life and for that I am grateful.
DH dosent take care of  himself and probally never will.
One thing I can do is to take care of me.
BTW looks like I will be able to come to GC this Saturday and Lee is going to bring me.

Today I am meeting with mom and her PT we are taking her to a pool because the PT feels it will help her alot.???^&*(*()__ DUH  not sure how we are going to transfere from the electric chair to a regular chair but the pool has a handicapped ramp.

Hi Annie,

I know that our lives do get to where the pendulum swings and our focus does become all about our WLS journey. I think, it will always be more of a focus for some than for others, but will probably always be somewhat of a focus for all who will be successful in the long term. As you know, it's so important that we don't forget where we have been and what it took to get back to a healthier state. I think that it is wonderful that Lee is bringing you to the support group meeting on Saturday. It is an indication of just how much he does love and support you.

We look forward to seeing both of you on Saturday.

I'm sure that this has been tough on Lee - but at the same time he is so incredibly proud of what you've done. Life is such a complicated balancing act. It seems to me that you do a wonderful job on balancing all of your many tasks. It's not easy looking out for your Mom and I know that could easily distract you from looking out for yourself. Maybe Lee is a little overwhelmed by it. Give him a hug from me and I can't wait to see yall again in person someday soon.

I will be looking forward to seeing you and Lee this weekend too. I am hoping some of my Greensboro folks will want to ride along with me. See you there!
I get the focus you have right now. I know how wonderful you feel about getting to where you are now and how excited you are to know you can get all the way there. I feel it too for myself. Some part of you may have to always be focused in order for you to keep yourself in check but at some point you will also find other things to focus on that will bring a lot of meaning to your life and then you will just maintain because you have it so ingrained that you will do it automatically. At least that is how I hope it will be for me some day.
