Update from Nurse on Versed and Endoscopy

Just talked to the nurse and she said I had no ulcers, stricture, redness in the pouch but was small but that's the way they want it.So now I'm back to starting over with trying to eat regular food instead of stuff I know want make me vomit.They only want me having one protein drink a day and try eating the rest of the protein. She wants me to drink alot of fluids today to see if I am dehyrated and call her tomorrow. She said the Versed would be out of my system by now. So please continue to pray for me that I can get this eating right without getting sick. Thanks.

I am highly sensitive to Versed.. and I refuse to take it.  Instead of making me sleepy and relaxed, it has a paradoxical effect and makes me go nuts.  I even had my EGD without sedation because all they could offer me was Versed.  :) 

Glad to hear everything came out okay, but I will keep you in my prayers.  :)

Thanks Jennifer for the thoughts and prayers :). According to the nurse the versed should have been out of my body by Sat so who knows. Today I still have a headache but feel a little better.

Thanks Jennifer, I'm beginning to think I have a sinus infection I've had a headache for days and can't get rid of it.
