Surgery Date

Good Morning,

I have to tell someone......I've  finally been approved for surgery on April 13th and am excited and scared at the same time.   I went to the Duke informational seminar April 4th of 2008 and am ready to begin the weight loss journey.  

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! April 13th is a very special day in my household - it was my late husband's birthday and his sister's bday. Now my cousin has a son who's birthday is that day and now you're going to have a Gigantic Re-Birthday on that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's an all around good day.

Congratulations!! It will be here before you know it. It is normal to be a bit nervous, but you are making a significant life-changing decision. I truly believe that when you look back at it a year from now you will be delighted that you took the plunge.

Congrats!  I remember hearing that "you're approved" message loud & clear and just feeling like I had to shout it to the world!  Feels good, doesn't it???
