Tomorrow
I know both of those things are crazy. I did do something last night that I have not done yet I went to the mall Belks was having a sale and I bought some shirts in other sizes that were 65% off and then take an extra 30 off.
Sorry I don't really have a question.

Hi Sarah,
Congratulations on your upcoming surgery. Since you've been working on your low carb diet for the most part for the past couple of weeks, you liver is likely to have shrunk quite a bit. When we lose weight, we start losing it from the liver and it often dramatically reduces in size. While some patients have to have an open procedure because the liver is too big, it's not very common, especially when you've been losing weight prior to surgery. You absolutely will lose weight after your surgery. There really are no ifs, buts or ands about it. How much you lose can be affected to a certain extent by your behavior, but honestly, I remember going to a support group meeting where a patient came in one time and said she wouldn't do it because she'd only lost about 45 lbs in 3 months. Then, she went on to say that she'd been eating macaroni and cheese, drinking sweet tea and milkshakes, having ice cream, eating breakfast biscuits from Hardee's,etc... She was doing all of that AND lost 45 lbs! I doubt that she got to goal and I doubt that she'll keep it off because she wasn't working on making any behavior changes, but she was still losing. You will lose and statistically, most of us not only lose 60 to 80 percent of the excess weight, but we keep it off 10 years out. Those are much better odds than you can get with just about anything else in life.
Take a deep breath and get ready for the ride of your life!
