Got a quick question. I think i might be a bit dehydrated. If you are having blurry vision and an unquenchable thirst are those signs of dehydration? I felt that way all day yesterday until about 9pm last night at work then it kinda went away. Now again this morning my vision is a bit blurry again. Anyone got an answer??

RUN, don't walk to the phone and call your Dr. immediately! If you are actually dehydrated enough to have affect your vision, you need talk to and see your Dr right away. It can be an emergency.

Please seek medical care and then let us  know how you are doing.

Wishing you all the best,

I'm glad that it doesn't seem to be related to dehyradration or your surgery, but I'm glad to hear that you'll be contact your PCP to get to the bottom of it.

Take care,

Hi Pollyann,
I agree with Barb. You need to follow this up with your PCP. My vision blurs when my sugar gets too high but I don't know why your's would if you're not diabetic.
A sure way to tell if your dehydrated is by the color or your urine. If it is very yellow, yes you are dehydrated. The lighter the color, the more you're hydrated. If I notice mine is starting to get a darker yellow, I start drinking more water.
Hope the helps and good luck!

Could your blood sugar be low?  I had an episode with that yesterday, and i had the same symptoms.  My vision was blurry, dry mouth, sweating.  Very light headed!!!! Was not fun!!!!  I was getting a manicure and it just happened.  I took a sip of Pepsi.  (I know, not suppose to do) It was the only thing with sugar, and within 60 seconds, I felt better.  I do not want that to happen again.  Sometimes advice over the phone is not always as good as going in to see someone face to face.

Good luck with it.

I hope things get better.

Deborah
