Prayers for Melissa

I went by and spend sometime with Melissa this afternoon and she is in alot of pain, so please keep her in your prayers. I thought she looked really good for someone who just had major surgery. I think the draining tubes are making her uncomfortable and she was complaining with her shoulder hurting and the nurse told her it was gas. She also sat up on the edge of the bed when I was there, so she's making progress. Thanks in advance for all your thoughts and prayers on her behalf.

I'm glad that you were able to go by and see Melissa. I'm so sorry to hear that she is having a problem with the gas pain. Ben said he thought that his was worse than the actual surgery pain and the pain medication doesn't really do anything for it. It took days for his pains to subside. I hope that her recovery eases soon.

If you talk to her again, please let her know that I'm thinking of her.

Tell Melissa for me that she is my hero!!! My hat's off to her.

I just had a lap hernia repair on Thursday and I am in agony. I cannot imagine going through all that she has.

This has been, by far, the most painful of all the surgeries I have been through in my life and BELIEVE ME when I say there have been many. I am no wimp when it cpmes to pain but HOLY CRAP!

Please send her my best wishes for a quick recovery.
