What is it?

For the last 3 days when I wake up in the morning I am very dizzy followed by nausea and sometimes vomiting.  The dizziness starts as soon as I put my feet on the floor and the vomiting usually happens in the shower or just about when I'm ready to leave for work.  Today, I woke up and couldn't even stand up...fell several times when I got out of bed.  Feeling a little bit better now, but still can't seem to pull it together.  I had my 6 month blood work 2 weeks ago and everything was fine.

Has anyone had this?  I feel like I'm drunk and I'm not even a drinker!

You may have orthostatic hypotension. Your blood pressure could be dropping when you go from lying to standing rapidly. If you have a blood pressure machine check your blood pressure lying down and then when you are standing

The dizziness could be causing the nausea, but it could be something else.

Defenitly check with your doctor. Don't wait to long.

I hope you are feeling better soon.

I didn't have this, but not as bad as are describing. It leveled out and got better with time and I never figured out the cause... That said, please call your Dr and go get evaluated.

Yep - I think that Belinda could be right - your blood pressure is very low - or the other possibility that can't be ignored is low blood sugar.  And dehydration can cause the same symptoms... Or inner ear trouble - vertigo.  The bottom line is this - Go get checked by the doctor.... too many things could be going on and falling down several times is just heading for trouble.

Call DR P. He was asking me about this at my 3 month check up, Though I have not had any symptoms..If you need his temporary number I got it or DR B's office in Concord can give it to you...I wouldn't put it off too long hun. Best of luck with this.   Pollyann

I have this trouble occasionally, for me it's dehydration.  I adjust my water back up to where it should be and it goes away.  I would have my blood pressure evaluated juts to make sure though.

Take care.
