I went shopping today, I needed some new jeans. I have not bought any new clothes in over a year, and this is killing me! I got a pair of 38x34 jeans and they were TOO BIG! I tried on 36x34 and they fit really well. I about passed out. I don't ever remember being able to wear a 36" anything. I did not buy any jeans, decided I was going to wait a little longer. I did buy a black leather jacket in a large. IT is a little tight but next year will be great, it was 70% off. I have never bought a size large I think I went straight from the boys husky to an XL.

Kudos to you for buying the L leather jacket even though it was tight.

It shows that you're committed to the process and gives you something cool to look forward to also.

There are many things I am hoping to wear one day but haven't been brave enough to purchase.
Good for you.

Keep it up. You'll be rockin' that jacket in no time.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I bought a leather jacket last winter in a size medium. It was a bit tight, but like you I figured it would fit just right this year. Guess what?!... It's actually too big. Now it only looks okay if I'm layering it over a shirt, sweater, etc...

Like you, I went from Plus Size girls, to large misses and into Plus Size Women's clothes. I never in a million years would have thought that I would wear single digit sizes.

It will be interesting to see what size you will be wearing next year.

Hi Jeff!

That's really cool that you are in smaller jeans than you expected. I am always surprised at what size I can get into and still am reluctant to buy much. Unfortunately it is so cold right now I have had to get some warm things to wear. But I can take them to goodwill to recycle or bring them to support group for others when I am done with them. You would think they would be like new but I have to wash several times a week because I don't have enough fitting clothes to make it through the whole week so I am getting a lot of wear in them and therefore getting my money's worth. Still they will recycle well into someone else's closet anyway.
