Thanks so much for the support and understanding exactly how I feel...I had prayed and prayed and prayed that I would replace my eating addiction with an exercise addiction.   That hasn't panned out the way I thought it would...thus why the new $1000 treadmill has become a wonderful hanger for my work clothes...LOL...I too feel like I failure, I may be down, but I'm certainly not out!!!

Again, thanks for your support, I means so much to come on here and find other that are feeling the very same way!

Wear a pedometer..   Being active is very important, and once I figured out that I was averaging over 15,000 steps per day I did not mind so much that I was not out running marathons yet.  :)  Don't beat yourself up either.  Like Barb said, this is a process.

Look at the postive side of things and breate!  98 pounds is AMAZING!

Thanks for the recommendation...I had been looking for something to buy and now I found it...After I treat myself to a pedicure and brow waxing tomorrow I'm going to go buy a pedometer.  How does it know how much I'm walking?  Do you wear it on your arm?  How much do they cost?
Sorry for all the questions, sounds like a cool idea for me!!!

I do not know if you like to dance, but I hated exercise before.  Now I take Zumba three times a week and I am addicted.  I love it!  It is just a suggestion, but it really helped me and it is fun, like a party.

Here is one in Charlotte

Hi Michele,
I can only speak from my own experinces about exercise.
First keep in mind I was a super morbidly obese person for many many years and just moving for me was hard.
I knew I had to make some life changing changes when I started to work out and belive me I cant even beging to tell you what a job it was for me to walk from my car to the locker room then to the pool.
After class and getting dressed and then back to my car I was totally wiped out.
 Fast forward to now.
5 days a week I try to burn 1000 calories a day.
I have to record my fitness to keep track of what I am doing.
I had to start out very slow and slowly add minutes and distance.
The benefits are wonderful for me.
If I had to pick a favorite exercise I would say walking my dogs and walking on my treadmill.
One other thing I could not do any of this without my MP3 player.
