Mare, I told you that you were a winner. And the lap. hernia fix is wonderful. You will be one happy camper. Hey you can be Xhernia girl 2. We can form a club and have a party. My hernia looked a lot larger after I lost the weight. All that padding hid it.  You will do great. I am so happy you are active on the board again.

Hey Mare,
Glad your appointment went well. Hey my surgery is Feb 10...wanna come to my room and we can enjoy the drugs together? LOL Dr. Miles said I would be in there 2-3 days so I may still be in there when you get there. I hope your surgery goes well. I know I can't wait for mine to be over with. I have had my hernia for 3 years 2 months and 15 days but hey ...who's counting?!? Mine looks worse now that it has the extra skin sagging in it too. Ewww. Anyways we will be hernia free in a few weeks. Good luck and I am still waiting for us to get together for lunch or something one day. It seems a shame I live this close to you and have never met you. I even know someone who lives in your neighborhood, I think.

Hi Melissa - I am going to be out patient, so he says. I won't be enjoying a nice restful stay at NHRMC. (Yeah right! I remember my last stay and I DID bring ear plugs.)
But we should meet soon, I agree.
Hope all goes well for you. You're having your panni done too right? I can't wait for that day but I still have quite a way to go.
