I Thought Of A Game To Play Too

Tell us something stupid you've done lately that you hope no one else saw you do.I thought of this game because of something I did at work the other day. But in these situations someone always sees, right? LOL Here's a few of mine:

     It was quitting time and I straightened up my desk, shut down the computer grabbed my purse to leave and pointed my car door remote at my desk and push the button to lock it up. Duh! Now my coworkers tell me "Hey Mare? Don't forget to lock your desk when you leave!"

     Made a trip to the dump a while back. I had junk on the back seat to throw out and after I tossed it I turned around and got in the car to drive away...FROM THE BACK SEAT!!!!!!!! (Yup - I'm THAT stupid!)

     Sprayed hairspray in my armpits instead of deodorant.

I'm sure there's more and the day is young. So share something stupid you've done. I can't be the only one who does these things.................can I???
 

 

 

 

First thing to come to mind is how klutzy I can be. David & I took a movie back to the rental shop the other day and I jumped  out to put it in the drop box - so far so good - but when I went to get back into the Bronco I sorta jumped up without realizing that I was on the curb so I wasn't jumping up from flat ground. Somehow I ended up with my head on top of the dang truck and not in it. Very, very graceful.

Then Saturday night he came to pick me up and I sorta fell into the truck . He was leaning toward me at the same time to kiss me and we butted heads. I was afraid I had knocked him out. So now he's ordered running boards for it and until they come in - he's opening doors and sorta hoisting me in there.

I'll come up with more stuff too as the day goes on. Can't wait to see what everyone else will fess up to.

Making dinner the other night and let the pan burn... this happens more often than I would like to admit.

Talking to someone on the phone and was late to pick up my daughter

I'm sure there's more but I'm in a brain fog this morning.

Drove to work, look in my purse for the keys to open the store, not there.  Search frantically in pockets, ect.  No luck.  Drive back home to get keys.  Can't find them anywhere.  Go back to car to look in glove box.  See my bagged lunch.  Look inside.  There's the keys.  *arrggg*

Girl I wondered of how you was doing. I don't get on oh to much anymore. How are you doing. You look great. 

 

Ok for the dumb a$$ thing I have done lately was......about 2 weeks ago I went to let my grown pittbull out to use the bathroom. I went to put her leash on her and she bolted out the door and had it tangles all around my feet. She drug me out the door and across the porch and through the yard. I had to crawl back in and yell for my daughter. She called my son and off to the E.R. we went. I got a broke foot and the bone under my eye is cracked and all swelled and black. I look like I got the crap beat out of me.

I've done many stupid things, believe me, but none come to mind.  But this post reminds me of what I saw on t.v. at Kay Yow's memorial service.  Someone said that she once managed to "bake" her cell phone on top of a pizza in the oven.  Another time she dropped her cell phone into her coffee and was caught blow drying her phone trying to get it to work again!   I thought those were cute enduring memories of NC States' beloved coach.

Girl... You have WLS head... lol!  I went through a phase like that too, I thought I was going crazy!!!   I can't believe I'm admitting this but...

I put my cell phone in the freezer instead of my purse, wore two different shoes to an interview (yup did that - and got the job!), Tried to tak my Nephew to cheerleading practice and my God-Daughter to Football try outs, Went on a date and called the guy the wrong name - that didn't go so well... lol!  (so many more but I'm not going to list them ALL!  After all I've had over 6 years to accumulate them).
