Hi Sharon,
I doubt that your restarting your meds had anything to do with your stall at all. Actually stalling at about 3 weeks is just about on 'schedule.' It's very common to stall somewhere from 10 days to about 5 weeks out, 3 weeks being the most common. The stalls vary in length, but it's not unusual for them to last somewhere between 10 days and 3 weeks. So just hang in there. Be sure to be getting in all of your protien and hydration. Be sure that you are walking and just stay with the program. You might also want to know while most of hit this stall we also tend to lose inches when the scale is being stingy, so get out that tape measure to track your progress. There's more than one way to filet a fish!
Also... Just a thought. I could'nt stay off the scale, but I found that if I tracked my weight on the anniversary day of my surgery... for me, it's a tuesday... then I was able to more clearly see the weight loss pattern. So, I have to admit to getting on the scale daily, but I only 'count' the Tuesday weigh in.

(((Sharon))),
Like you I was very surprised to hit a stall so early. I think I hit mine when I was about 10 days out and I was afraid that I was the one person that this wouldn't work for... I also 'felt' like I was a slow loser because I could see others losing at such a quick clip all around me. I think our weight loss amounts were somewhat similar... At any rate, I found a website that helped me enormously... I was able to compare my weight loss rate to those who matched my demographics so I was comparing apples to apples, instead of apples to brocolli... if you know what I mean. The site that I used was www.thinnerself.com it has a weight loss calculator and a great thing for tracking your measurements.

Hang in there..I know how frustrating it can be....I too stalled for the entire 3rd and 4th week. Even now at 6 months out I only lose about 5 lbs. a month and that all happens on the 3rd week of the month. I've just accepted that it's me...and I can't change it. Those scales will move again in no time!!! Keep your chin up!
