Oh Kidney Stone.. Where art thou?

Good grief.....  I have just become a kidney stone factory since RNY.  Ive had FIVE.  This last one is being stubborn and I am paying the price for that.  LOL  For about 2 weeks I was sore and in/out of pain with it.  Never saw a stone though.  Then yesterday.. it reared its ugly head again.  Now I am sore/in pain again.  The good thing is that these things have my pain threshold so high that I can still function and not have to be out of commission most times they are moving.  I suppose I will just take 1/2 dose of my pain meds and go on to school.  At least if the edge is gone from the pain my students will not suffer the wrath of Jennifer.  LOL  

Just needed to vent about this stupid stone.  At least the lady in California will have babies to bring home.. I just get stupid stones now.  LOL

Now there's something I haven't experiience and hope I never do. My sister had them 2x and was in excrutiating pain. I'm like you though, high threshold for pain.
Hope things pass quickly and you're back to your old self.
Besides, you really shouldn't be going to school "stoned."

Hey.. I took Hydrocodone today (only 1/2 of a dose) to take the edge off of my pain and make it through the day.  You don't know how close humor mimicks real life there!  LOL

AWwww......really??!!  That's so sweet to hear.  Thanks for telling me.  He's a pretty good old fella! :-)  Did I tell you that a week ago, I actually weighed LESS than he does?!  Then he goes and skips a meal and loses 5 pounds! MEN! Ugh!

Yeah.. I know.  Dean is 6'3" and around 200 and can eat WHATEVER he wants.  I hate him.  LOL  but now.. he outweighs me by over 50 pounds!   I never, ever thought I would see that day!
