Finally have Dr appt - maybe they'll fix my pain

I finally have an appointment with a Dr to get help for the  pain I'm having.  YEAH!  I called everyone from here to there only to be told for one reason or another that they wouldn't see me. I called Duke back and told them I don't care if it takes me 4 hours to get there, I need to see a doctor, because 2 months is too long to be in pain.  They agreed.  I was able to get one for THURSDAY!  Hopefully they'll give some better indication of why I'm in pain and how to fix it. 
Does anyone know the quickest way to to Duke WLS?  They didn't give me directions and before I call them back I figure I would check with you guys for easy directions (from I-40).  THANKS!!!

I have never been there but good luck with the appt. I hope all goes well for you. That is too long to be in pain.

I'm actually excited about getting in there.  I should be nervous because I've put on so much weight, but I'm excited because the pain will hopefully be put to an end soon. 

Once they are able to determine the cause of my pain, I'll be that much closer to getting back into the gym at the Y and getting back to a comfortable weight.  I never thought I would say I missed the gym, but I definitely do.  Once I'm "all better" that's going to be my new best friend. LOL

I'll keep you guys posted when I get back home Thusday night-send good vibes my way.

I got my directions tonight off Mapquest so I know where I'm going . 

I knew Duke and UNC were close, but had no idea how close.  I have to take my daughter a few times a year to UNC, so at least I'm familiar with that drive (and I already know the potty stops LOL).   I've heard all good things about Duke, so I'm excited.
