This is REAL important plz write back
At my age that would be a blessing but I guess not for you younger ladies. I think I would call my Gyn and set up an appointment to see if he/she can determine what's going on. I do know our hormones get a little crazy from the rapid weightloss and release of stored hormones but I could never begin to guess how it can affect everyone. Check with you doc.

Hi Amber, if you are sure you are not pregnant then you definitely need to see the dr. And if you are pregnant you still need to see the dr!! I don't what else to tell you other that as Ann said our hormones are all over the place which can cause all kinds of things.
Good Luck and I am really glad to see that you are so happy!
Hugs,

Hugs,
How long ago did you have surgery? I certainly had period issues since surgery and my OB says that when you lose weight like I did that is normal. However, mine was not an absence of a period.. in fact I got it 3 weeks a month for a while until it leveled out. However, if you are sexually active I would take a pregnancy test to make sure. Stranger things have happened!
I honestly don't know what to tell you. I don't know how old you are or what your periods were like before your surgery. I was on anti-coagulants (sp?) and I've had TWO periods from hell since my surgery. Could you be pregnant? **he he** Seriously, if you're that concerned, I think you need to go see your doctor.

I just noticed who your surgeon is. He works with my surgeon, Dr. Chapman! We might even run into each other at a follow up appointment!
At 19 you ought to be having more regular periods. It's probably nothing, but I'd go see your dr. if I were you. Better safe than sorry.
Good luck.
