Hi I'm home
Hi, just wanted to say I came home on Saturday and am doing pretty well. Had a few complications secondary to the surgery that have taken a little longer to resolve, but am doing very well, essentially pain free, no nausea, and moving about well, taking fluids and sleeping.
Still very tired (who can sleep in a hospital?) but getting better every day.
THanks to everyone who sent prayers and thoughts my way. They were greatly appreciated.
Will post more later,
Thanks,
Barb

rest, rest, rest, sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk, then repeat. Make your honey (or whoever is handy) do everything for you! Don't lift anything more than a few lbs!! Take my word for it. It will make you sore! I kept wanting to pick up my cats to cuddle them. Big mistake! And don't try to lean over a lot, esp. the first couple of weeks. Get one of those grabber tools to pick up things from the floor.
Welcome to the loser's bench!!
