stuck
Hey Sandy, welcome to my world and it's no fun believe me and I agree I sometimes take to big of bites but somethings like chicken, seafood just don't agree with me. I was told if I get sick or whatever to go back to soft foods for a day or two to let the pouch feel better and usually after I'm vomiting for hours I don't care if I ever eat again lol. I was told to get stage 3 baby food to try and get my pouch used to eating meat and I have some but haven't tried it yet, just the thought ya know. PM me if you need to talk to someone who understands. Hugs.

My DH reminds me constantly to eat slow and chew my food good so I don't get my food stuck. Sometimes he warns me a little to late. Old eating habits are so embeded in my brain that it still happens a year out. Try to think about each bite. I do best when I take a bite and put my fork done..think about chewing proper..and slow done. It does get better.

I really must take the time and slow down too. I usually end up eating most of my meals alone and I get bored so I think I just eat too quickly. I try to eat dinner with my family but I don't alway schedule things right. It is easier when I eat at least some of the same foods. There are some nights when we have completely different dinners and they end up eating first. I wolf it down to try to catch up I think.
