something well learned.

 Today I learned why I should not wear magnifying glasses on the top of my head when I am not using them. When I am home or the shop I don't hesitate to keep a pair on the top of my head inside. Outside is another story. I was fishing today and it really helps to have magnifying glasses on to tie those little hooks and not wind up looking like a coming in last contestant for the torture chamber. So anyway I am fishing along with these glasses on top of my head and the sun begins to shine and wow im getting warm and not as cold. Then I began to really get warm on the top of my head.. NO IT WAS HOT>>> WAY HOT>. So I as normal reached up and rubbed my ol head and moved the glasses just a tad and all was well. Thats when I turned the back of my head east and dang if my head just did not get all hot all over again. It was then I realized the effect of the sun boring through the lens was doing just what it was supposed to do heat things up. Does this mean I can qualify for the Darwin Awards?

My husband always tells me he's going to wrap me in bubble wrap and stick me in the back of the closet. I wasn't always a klutz. Must've removed something else during my RNY, huh?
