Richard wrote to me
A couple of days ago I got an email from my friend Richard Simmons in fact it was a personal email and not an automatic email.
He likes to refere to me as Cinderella LOL
I am very grateful he is taking a personal intrest in me and my journey.
He also sent some loving thoughts to me for Rosie.
Richard has two Dalmations who are both 12 years old now and he totally understands about what it means to love older dogs and some of the problems we face as pet owners.
As for how I am doing I know I havent posted much but I am doing good.
Ive been focasing lots of energy on Rosie and staying on top of making sure she is comfortable.
The holistic way is working out great and seems to provide her much comfort.
Even tho I havent been posting much be assured I am staying very much on track with food intake and working out.
That is another reason I love having my machines at home so when the weather is not good I always have my little room to go too.
On Tuesday I was totally glued to CNN but during the luncheon for Obama I got my workout time in.
On my way to finally walk my babies.
I havent been able to walk them in a few days because of ice on the ramp and steps.
The great deer hunter Arthur tends to get very excited on our walks and I did not want to risk falling on ice.

So glad to read that things are OK with you. I wasn't sure if it was Lee or Rosie or something else. Take care my friend and frame that email from Richard (at least scrap book it). You are Cinderella and this is all preparation for your Grand Ball.

It's great to hear a thorough update from you. I'm always thinking about ya!
That is so precious that Richard is keeping in touch with you. I know how much that has got to mean to you. You are both two very special people, so you make a great team!
Glad to hear Rosie is keeping as comfortable as possible and that you are focusing your time and energy on her right now. You won't look back with any regrets this way. She's one lucky girl to have you as her momma.
Speaking of lucky...that home gym / sanctuary of yours! What a blessing it must be to have that right at your fingertips. I keep telling hubby that may be the key for me.

The most intresting thing happen on my walk this morning.
Keep in mind I had one thing on my mind and that was to walk the babies LOL
When we get to the road we noticed an old red truck full of firewood go past us and up the hill.
Next thing the truck slows down and is driving beside us as we walk.
I turned off my MP3 player to hear what the man was saying.
I get lots of nice remarks about Arthur and Guien when we are out on a walk.
Long story short the man in the truck knew me from many years ago he said I looked familar but wasent sure.
I said oh that must of been 420lbs ago.
I finally recognized the man and the young boy with him used to work at the sheltered workshop I had clients at many years ago.
He wanted to unload the firewood not to travel back to Pittsboro with it.
I exp[lained I could not pay him till Wednesday and he said that would be fine I could mail him a check.
It is people like this man that makes the human spirit alive and well.
I have heard that this man for many years has parked his truck at different spots in town selling watermelons,pumkins and corn and the wonderful part is he has sent two daughters who have both graduated from college who he is so very proud of.
As we talked we both talked about how wonderful it was that Obama got elected ect..
This man whos name is Wilbur is a special man who does suffer from obesity and I have seen him on the hottest days selling watermelons.
Wilbur has a goal and I would imagine it was to provide education to his family.
So that is our adventure today on our walk and God Bless Wilbur.

In fact I like to burn candles alot and for Christmas Lee gave me a beutiful indoor fountain the water sound is so wonderful.
So now I am thinking of buying anothr fountain for my room.
So with candles lit a fountian going I am in a place to help heal myself and to help my emotinal and physical self.

I am glad you are having a good day too! How neat to meet someone you knew a while before you lost all the weight and that he was seriously trying to figure out who you are. That can be construed as a major wow doncha think?
