Okay.. I will play too.  This is fun!

3 Things that might surprise you about me...

1.  I am a "Well of Useless Knowledge" according to my sister.  I can remember the strangest things/facts/trivia.

2.  My dad (and I suppose me too) was related to Stonewall Jackson.

3.  I am terrified of clowns.  I HATE them.  I think that someone has to be seriously impaired to dress up like that and parade around in front of little kids (and 36 year olds who are scared of them too!)

Here's my 3 cents:

1. By the time I was 10 years old, I suffered 3 head injuries including a fractured skull and a closed head trauma (at different times). Obviously, not the most graceful child.

2. I was very lucky growing up to have had a built-in playmate and best friend in the form of my twin brother. He died when we were 13 in an accident and has been my personal guardian angel for the last 20 years.

3. And now for a happy fact...I got engaged over the weekend to the most wonderful man in the world (okay I might be a little biased here...). After almost 10 years I guess it was about time!

Sarah,

1. I knew you were a little nutty... now I know why. JK... LOL ;-)

2. I'm so sorry about the loss of your twin. As I think you know I have twins and can't imagine that loss for either of them. I lost my own brother at 21 and like you feel like I have a guardian angel watching over me too.

3. CONGRATULATIONS!!! It sounds like you and your beloved are like my son and his new wife ... They were on the 10 year plan too! Just think how much fun shopping for a wedding dress will be. You'll be able to try on that one, and that one, and that one... It will be so much fun!

I hope to see you at the next Grads Get Together! Be sure to bring photos of your honey.

Hugs,

Barbara
