Shauna,

Thank you for that.

You are so right. You wrote exactly what I was thinking. I am my own worst enemy/critic/saboteur. Only I can change what is happening.
I caused it...I need to change it. No one can do that for me.

Thanks for the words of wisdom and support...now GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

Mare,
I have missed your posts.  Hang in there - you are a weight loss success story and need to hold your head up high!!!!  Take care of yourself and get back to basics - protein, protein, protein, water and exercise.  We  can get these last pounds off!!

Mare.. (((HUGS)))  Rest assured that you are not alone in your struggle with those old demons.  I believe that 99.9% of us struggle with the old food addictions and habits that we were enslaved to for most of our lives.  I have NEVER met a piece of chocolate I did not like or a potato chip that I could leave on a plate..  LOL  I still struggle daily with the compulsion to eat eat and eat some more.

I think that there is one HUGE differnence between then and now.  NOW you are aware of those demons.  You are aware of the fact that those demons can ultimately destroy your best intentions at losing weight and being healthy.  And GIRL.. you have lost 160 pounds.  Keep your head up.  Keep your eyes open and NEVER feel like you cannot come here and vent.  I dare say that most of us can relate to what you are battliing.

Love ya girl!  I am proud of you!

Hi Jenn,

I know that most of us will be frustrated with stalls and struggles to control our old habits. I was so prepared for that.
I wasn't prepared for it to be so difficult or last so long. Dang!

Don't get me wrong. I am SO proud of myself and the progress I HAVE made. I'm just beating myself up for allowing this to happen.

I need to make time every day to do something to get my a** moving. I sit on my duff all day at work. Then make excuses why I have dust gathering on the treadmill. (It's not like I have to leave the house to walk in the cold.)

This morning I am. Sun's just about up. Puttin' on my NBs and heading out.

Thanks Jenn & love ya too!

We need to start our own support group for that kind of need.  WAIT!  We have one.. HERE!  LOL  I am bad bad bad about exercising too.  Worse yet, I have started snacking throughout the day.  TERRIBLE habits.  But I am still a scale ***** so I am watching each and every ounce.  :)  YAY for you and your NBs.  :)  Keep up the good work Mare.  Dont be frustrated and hold your head high!

My Mare can not be sad.  I have the same brain as I had before the surgery. And sometimes it is a stinker. I have hit a lot of stalls and fear never reaching goal. My only saving grace is I can't tolerate a lot of sugar.
You have done such a wonderful job and from all the post received  ...you are not alone.  There is nothing I can tell you that you don't already know except ...I  am here for you and if you want to talk  PM me I will give you my phone # or you can give me yours, and I will listen and help if I can. I am home a lot since my surgery so call if you want. You are a sucess but you are human. Don't beat yourself up over some bad decisons. We all make them. I can tell you a few of mine. You are missed on the board so keep in touch.
