Snow Snow Snow!!!

We are having such a great time.  Luckily my little one's BFF lives in our apartment complex so they've had a blast together today.  The dog, Keeper Tinkerbelle, loves to play in the snow but she is definitely not a fan of doing her business in the snow.  I think the wild part for me is that as I sit here writing this all I can think is "this is it... this is the first decent snow of my daughter's life".  This is the one she'll remember and talk about... as her mom that is so cool.  Needless to say, I've taken tons of pictures.  I've posted some on my profile if anyone's interested.

I'm near Iris, and we haven't gotten more than a few flurries so we are working also. My surgery is tomorrow morning and I have to be at the hospital at 5am, so with my luck it will be late moving in and we'll have a blizzard!.

What a disapointment today though, being from OHIO originally I enjoy seeing snow once a year. Guess this wasn't it!!

I am from the same area in California as Barb. Unless you drive up to Lake Tahoe you are NOT going to see any snow EVER!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow!! I have been mesmerized by it all day long! haha! Ive been looking out the window and it is so beautiful. The only thing I didnt like is I had my Yearly exam that I had to wait a month for (crotch Doctor LOL) and it was today and the base was closed My dogs have never seen the snow and it was fun watching them play in it. I have been outside a zillion times just looking at how pretty everything is right now!

Well just had a moment to check in... it's been beautiful with all this cold, fluffy, white stuff!!!  I grew up in San Diego so even just a little snow is great to me!  It did take me 1 1/2 hours to get to work tonight instead of 45 minutes... Oh well... at least it was smooth driving and no sliding all over the roadway.  Some people are dumb though!  UGH!  Rex and I made a snowman, he is cute and it was fun!!!   My puppy didn't like it and wanted back inside the house in about 1 minute... lol!
