Hi, well i have finally feeling much better after surgery, it took me 9 days, but i feel great enough to climb the stairs and get on the computer.
Everything went great, I just wasn't prepared for the extremly painful gas after the surgery. My doctor didn't explain to me that they pump your tummy full of gas, then you have to get rid of it, with out the help of gas x or what ever else. So for the first five days i was in agony. Do i regret  my WLS, not one bit. I'm ready for the ride of my life to becoming a healthier person, and a new me.
I just wanted to let everyone know i made it through it and doing great.
Thanks for all your support.

Welcome to the losers bench Annmarie!  Glad to hear you're doing well.  Yes, the gas was bad but a small price to pay for the new healthier you that is on the way.

Congrats on reaching the post-op side and let us know if you have questions!  Alice

Hi Annmarie,

Welcome to the Loser's Bench!  We just scooted over enough I think! LOL  The gas was the worst of it for me too, but GasX did help!!  I am glad that you are feeling reasonably human again.  I know you will improve every day!

Hi Annmarie,

I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a difficult start. I know it was really hard for my husband too. The good news is that it just gets better and better from here on out!

Wishing you all the best,

Annmarie,  Glad to hear you are finally feeling better.  It does take a little while and it was actually 6 weeks before I finally felt *strong* and not so *emotional!*  lol  Look forward to hearing about your journey as you become the healthier, new you!  Good luck!

Welcome to the losers bench Annmarie.  I hope you are ready for the ride of your life.  It will take time to get back to feeling like your old self, but it will happen in time.  But take this time to enjoy getting to know yourself all over again.  Good Luck.
