Hi Everyone This is my First Post

Hello to All,
My name is Dona Lerner and my screen name is Practicetee. I had my RNY surgery Dec. 30, 2008. It has been a wonderful journey thus far. I had the mindset prior to surgery that this was the correct path for me to be on and promised myself I would be compliant. Well being compliant is easier than I had ever imagined so far anyway. I love going to the Losers Bench Meet-up Events as everyone is so welcoming and open. I do believe this is a journey shared by few, but those who partake in this process and work hard at it can really have the chance at a whole new life. I am very inspired by those around me and hope to one day inspire another individual to reach for his or her best self.

Hi Dona,

I'm so sorry I missed you yesterday.  We went to Goldsboro for my husbands birthday.  Let's try and get together in the next couple of weeks.  I hope you are doing well.

I am great and I did miss you but I knew it was your husband's BDay.
Maybe we could meet for coffee. Youwork at Wake Med, right? Which location? I could come visit before or after work (as long as that is not 5am!!)

We should figure something out. Would love ot see how much less of you there is!
