Well I just though it was cold here last week..

 I finally got totally cold this morning when the thermometer came inside just to get out of bed. We had a balmy temperature of +5 today here. There were ladies outside getting suntans. Dogs relaxing on the street wagging their tales as cars slowly passed them by. I was sweating to the oldies on the front porch with the warm breeze ..... oh dangit I had to wake up. Yall its supposed to hit the big 4 tonight. Our power went off and on like an errant child on a light switch. then the pipes froze up. By the afternoon and a couple of hours of blowing heat on the pipes the water is now back to normal. I finally took a picture for my 3.5 month out new dont have much hair anymore photo. Larry and I are going on an 8 mile cold weather hike tomorrow over at deep creek.. That should be so much fun.. Why I do this stuff is beyond me.. I suppose its there Ill be bored inside all day so it may work out fine. Yall have fun on the board tomorrow. Ill be nice and chilly.. lol.. 

Cold used to not bother me at all.  NOW.. with little insulation... I DONT DO COLD.  You have a great hike.. I will have to opt for yoga in the warm indoors!!!  :)

Push - just looked at your new pics - you are looking like a different man !  Congratulations!  Take plenty of warm clothes and don't get wet at the creek... that will have you chilled to the bone!

Well it is cold there, we were at a warm 24 here today but by Saturday morning is supposed to be 14 big degrees...  I feel like if it's going to be that cold then it should just snow and be pretty at least!  I think I'll get home around 8am and just hide cooped up until it warms up some... lol!

I am a cold weather person lol I hate the hot humid weather in NC! Ill take my California perfect weather anyday!! Super cold fogged in mornings and then warm but not humid days......... oh wake up!! YES it has been FREEZING these last few days. I used to be fine in the cold but now that Ive shed my *winter coat* I have to bundle up way more! I think it is great you get out and go on your hikes. When I had my horses I would ride them early in the mornings no matter how cold it was. I hope you and Larry have a fantastic time and bundle up!

Hope you are having a great time.   While i did like the long hair, you look so young with the shorter cut!!   It was 9 in Charlotte this morning.  I hate the cold....but i would never want to live in FL or anyplace else.  Thank goodness this is not the norm.

 Well I made the hike and for the first time since my surgery tackled two trails that had whupped my butt and gut for two years. It felt good arriving at a normal accending time and not having to hang on to the heaving sign at the top. Yes it was cold and I need to buy stock in Patagonia big time. I shed shirts like a stripper on speed by the first two miles then started sweating some as we got into the steeper areas. We started at 1030 am and finished 7 plus miles of up and down mountains and valleys at 0300 pm . To top it off I went and ate a hot dog.. I think it will be the last one I ever attempt to try again too. I am going to put up some pictures since Larry was pretty goofy today and took some of me for a change. Where we live the climate is more like lower Canada most of the time. I love the cold as much as I love my capilene garments.. Oh by the way I hit a goal this morning on the scales and matched my weight of 221 which was last scene at age 21. I just hope the scales will be nice in the morning from all the hiking lol.. And the young lady that said I look young.... Compliments will get you everywhere. Next thing yall know ill be shaving and stuff.. NOT...
