First Dr's appt
Just got in from first Dr's appt. post op
drum roll please. I've lost 7 lbs. I was a little disappointed. had surgery on 1-5-09 thought it might be a lb or two more but I'm happy. I'm below 250 first time in years. and it's only gonna get better. Dr did say sometimes it takes a couple of weeks and then it'll just start dropping off. Everything else was good and I'm just happy I'm on the right road this time.

I remember when I got home from the hospital, I was up 10 pounds from all the fluid, so first I had to lose all that before the "real weight" started coming off. I think 7 pounds is excellent, but if you figure in the water weight you probably had to lose, you're doing incredible! :)
