pre op done and liquid diet started

One word of caution, if they let you go the same day, you will want to get a motel room for the night. Treveling after this surgery is horrible. I had my surgery on 12/22 and left the hospital on 12/23. I had only 1.5 hours to travel and I couldn't wait to get home. It was uncomfortable and I was beat. Good luck with everything.

Tamara,  I was thinking of you yesterday while I was at Frye in radiology and labs.  Knowing you'd just walked those halls in preparation for your surgery about had me choked up! 

Yes, knowing your dad is a truck driver and used to being on the road all hours is a relief.  Hopefully you can take a pillow and just curl up and sleep on the drive...if your butterflies will let ya!    We had to leave home at around 3 a.m. the morning of my surgery and I was just PUMPED with excitement!
