I got scoped today

Hey everyone,
Well today was finally here to get my scope done to find out what is wrong in this stomach of mine. My friend pam spent the night and when we left here at 6:30 for Greenville we were shocked to see the cars in my driveway totally FROZEN OVER! The road was covered in ice all the way to G'Vegas and we saw four bad wrecks where cars had skidded into each other and one was flipped upside down. I had a really bad car crash on blac**** so this triggered off bad memories.

I got to Atlantic Gastro and THANK GOD the nurse who started my IV only had to do two sticks instead of 20! The first try the vein blew, the second after gentle digging popped in. I saw Dr. Mann typing at the desk and some guy was with him, it was a intern from Pitt and he had to come and ask my permission to *observe*. I told him no... and his face dropped, then I started laughing and said yes of course BUT I am not responsible for what I say once the Versed is put in the IV.

I remember going in and then rolling on my side then they said *ok here comes the Versed* from then on I dont remember anything... it was just like my pre op scope...that drug is super trippy!! when I *woke up* out of my Hypnosis state of mind my friend Pam was laughing. She told me that Dr. Mann said as soon as they pulled the scope out I started blabbing away like I was on some sort of super diet pill haha! I guess the intern said something to me because the nurses were cracking up because my response to him was *How would you like it if I shoved a tube down YOUR throat* LMAO. I was also told I had a conversation with a nurse about Dr. Mann and his muscles RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM and the Nurse was totally agreeing with me OMG LMAO. Anyone that knows Dr. Mann knows he is a HARDCORE fitness, workout and Karate guru and hes very *toned* I am sooo embarressed now HAHAHAHAHAHA Pam said Dr. Mann had this big smile on his face and was laughing about it.

Anyways I have a *Marginal Ulcer* it is small and treatable and Im glad it is just a small problem and not a big one. I got some cool photos of the inside of my pouch. Dr. Mann did do a biopsy and I will find out if it is anything to worry about in about 10 days. Anyways that was my great adventure for today

 You will never see Dr. Mann the same again lol.. Im glad your procedure went good and it fixable. Maybe you should tell them to tape your mouth so you wont make any goof ups next go round if it happens lol. That was a funny story for sure. I talk way too much trash when they put me under the gas for that sort of stuff. I have fallen in love with more recovery nurses than I would care to talk about at least for the time it took them to power up a shot and send me back to lala land.. Keep off the ice if it comes back tomorrow if you can.. 

Wow girl.. Sounds like you had another adventure!  lol!  I also talk like crazy after Versed is administered, it's like you have no worries.  Anyway, I'm glad you found out what was going on and that it is treatable and just a small problem.  Hopefully the biopsy outcome is just as good!  I have to take my Sister to G'Vegas tomorrow and I'm sure my car will be one of those frozen - ugh!!!

Thanks for the exciting story - we all need a good laugh.  I hope that your biopsy comes back fine.  I had one a few years ago and I honestly don't remember even getting in the car to come home-but when I woke up, I had some cool pictures of my insides.

OMG Darcie,  You are so right about Dr. Mann.  He has great, vein and mucsle ripplings arms!!!!!  His smile is big and then top it off is his accent.  OK! Back to being serious.  Glad everything went well for you.  Hope the treatments come out fine.  Just remember, I have a date with Dr. Mann January 28th.  WooHoo.

Yep I 100% agree he is ~H O T~ Im glad my drugged up mouth decided to let him know how hot he was in front of everyone LMAO Seriously he his a fantastic Doc and I do LOVE the accent I call him *The Terminator* behind his back (well I guess in front of him now too lol) Have fun on your *date* !!! your in the best of hands!!! (and arms, biceps, triceps, glutes, pecks ect lol)

Hey Darcie, thank God you found out what was wrong and it can be treated.  Now, maybe next time they need to back off tthe versed some;  that is some GOOOODDDDD SSSHHHHIIIIITTTTT!!!!!  I'm always afraid of what I'll say when I get that stuff but it sure does feel good while it lasts

Hell yes its good ****! LMAO the best part is Dr. Mann told Pam that he had to juice me up higher then hes ever done to anyone, to get me in that *Hypno mode* he said I kept arguing with him and not cooperating until he gave me more LOL The funny part is Pam said when I came out the procedure room into recovery that I was whispering *not to listen to the medical staff, that I REALLY didnt need more drugs, and that they are lying if they say they drugged me up even more* (How could I remember to tell a lie about something I was not even awake/aware of LOLOL)I wish they would of filmed all of this...it would of been hilarious to see me whispering and telling lies and talking about the Doc right in front of his face LOL

Now, that gives me an idea for another reality show....  Under the influence....

Oh I LOVE that idea!!!  Might be the first one I would watch!
