I've joined the losing side
Hello everyone. This isn't Heather. This is her husband. She wanted me to update the her friends on here.
Her surgery was schedulred this morning at 7:15am, but when we arrived, they brought us into pre-op at 6am, and sent her off to surgery at 6:20.
The doctor came out about 9 am, and told the family and me that everything was fine, and that the procedure went without any problems. She did have slight pain and nausea afterwards, but he assured me that is normal.
She was able to get a room about 12:00pm and settled in. She is kinda in and out, and I can't blame her. The poor girl didn't get a bit of sleep last night, and I know she is exhausted from surgery.
Anyway, she has already been up and walking around a little on the floor, and she says she feels surprisingly great! The nurses on the floor seem hopeful that if she continues on this route, the doctor may release her a day earlier.
Anyway, that was just a quick wrapup with her status.
