brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold

I woke up to the nice chilling cold and figured, Ah Push go out and get a suntan its nice outside.. Now that I have left a healthy portion of myself this weather is just right down chilly. We should be in single digits tomorrow and since it is going to be so nice outside I will go out and get all the poor dogs that are stuck to the trees unfrozen just because Im a nice man and all. The way I see all this cold will just kill alot more of the little bugs and critters that bite me in the summertime. So if you are basking in the warm weather where you are today.. Im jealous lol.. I know there has to be somebody in Miami lurking around on this board.. Send some sunshine up this way.. 

Push, I live east of you, near the coast. It is usually warmer here in NC than where you are but it was cold as heck here this morning. It rained yesterday so when I woke up to go to work, I had to actually warm up my car. It was covered in a sheet of ice. It was hard to open even. I haven't dealt with that since I lived in PA over 3 yrs ago. Tomorrow is supposed to be colder. ugh. brrrr
You are so right about it killing the bugs and such. A good cold snap is great for that. You might even get in some ice fishing.

Of course there's a record cold snap expected here on the coast this week - I planned an outside type party for the weekend.!!!!When my oldest son graduated we had a pig picking for him in June during a record heatwave. What you do for one - well - you just have to do for the other. So why wouldn't I expect a cold snap.

hmmmm ... let's see I have planned to wear about 14 different layers and will still probably be cold.

Pu**** is cold even with the sun shining... Thank goodness for the heater and the my propane gas logs in the fireplace.  I stay cold.  Gotta go to work tonight and will wear my long-johns... several layers of clothes... because the hospital is always so cold.

I thought you would have some new pics to post with your new hairdo by now... Are you regretting the hair cut??

Send some sun my way, too.  With some warmth to it....

Yall if it weren't for Capilene underclothes I would be one big ol ice lump. Last update it is supposed to hit 15 or so tonight. I can well remember some years back when it got down to 6 and had a high of 18 for the day.. I was not too fat in those days either and lawd I wanted more long johns. My wife gave me a set of Capilene base 4 johns for christmas and they came right on time. I think I wound up with three layers plus down and two layers of lowers this morning and it should be a repeat performance. Im just glad there are coffee places between here and work. I had to unload several instruments out of the car today to keep them from contracting and the glue pulling loose. I forgot to do that one time and wound up refitting a Mandolin neck which on the surface appeared to be a quickie but turned out to be a nightmare when the finish would not match up just right. I got it looking good and sent it to a warmer climate and worthy fingers. Its already starting to get a bit nippy in the man cave. I got to figure out a new heating thing for up here. 

I think you are somewhere close to me and if so, all I can say is BUNDLE UP!  Friday and Saturday are supposed to be bitterly cold in these mountains.  BRRRRR!!!!
