OT: making a website

Ok wealth of abundant knowledge friends..........I want to make a website for my mother dog/future pups.....does anyone know how and if there is a free site that I can do this on? I googled it and it all looks greek to me. Please pm me......any and all ideas/tips/rescues will be appreciated! WHENEVER I get it up and working, I will post the link here if anyone is interested in seeing. I think I am too old for this new computer stuff, lol

Try using one Yahoo's webpages... they will sell you a site at very little cost.  Geocities.com has free webpages as well that are about the best of the free ones.

Try using freewebs.com if you want a pretty nice free website that is pretty easy to do. Another very easy one to do for a little cost is homestead.com and they have 'canned' websites directed towards breeders among others things.

What kind of dogs will you be having? Not that need one just intrested in the breed you have.
Also depending on if the mother and pups are pedigree will there be puppy papers and sometimes it can benefot you to have a first puppy check up when selling them.

I use Charlotte .com  to advertise my pups. I sold them all until the economy took a dive. Now GIGI housebroke and has won my heart so I quit advertising. I might still would sell her to someone I know. GIGI is a miniature Schnauzer.  YOU also may try Iwanna.com  and NC adriculture Review. But these places are not web pages. The are like classified.

My pups will be West Highland Terriers. Thanks for all the "free" links, I also got a pm from someone who's DH is a computer Guru, so depending on how hard any of the free sites are...I may need to contact him. Yes annie, they will have papers, and Gracie went to the vet yesterday and he said she looks great.....I'm thinking of going for a sonogram to see how many I have....dunno yet~ Next week DH is welping box man, LOL.  I am also thinking of having a webcam installed by her crate so family/friends can view. I really have a great idea in my head, but don't know if the brains in it (?) know how to figure it out! LOL.

Barb, thanks for sharing your site.....your pups are adorable.....I'll take Rose in a heartbeat........I am going to give it a try this coming week. Off the OH subject but still on the dog subject, I attended the starving artist's show in New Bern today and upon coming out, there was a woman parked with a litter of Australian Shepard's in the back of her truck she was selling for $850....there was the cutest Merle one......DH told me I'd have to trade my painting for her, LOL.  Reality check. Will keep you posted on my progress. Thanks again!
