Hi everyone. I just wanted to post a little message on here in case no one sees the one I put on the original post. First and foremost, i want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all of the prayers and concerns about my son and my family. I also wanted to let everyone know that I FINALLY got the call from the doctor. And i do mean from the doctor. He actually called instead of the nurse. He's awesome!!!! Ok anyways, lol, Back to the results. Thank goodness little Bobbie's heart is fine. The first 2 EKG's was false readings. He did tell me though that little Bobbie is going to have to see a ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist. The doctor said that he thinks little Bobbie is going to have to have his tonsils and adenoids taken out. His tonsils are enlarged and little Bobbie has a hard time breathing and also with obstructive sleep apnea, the chances are more higher that he is going to have to have the surgery. Honestly, I would rather deal with getting his tonsils taken out then having something wrong with his heart. I don't want him to have any surgery but at least i know this isn't exactly life threatening surgery. I am just so happy right now, but i am also tired because i didn't get any sleep last night. I am a worry wort...lol....Especially when it comes to my family.
OK well again, thank you everyone for all of your prayers and concerns. I truly believe that these results come back normally because of all of the prayers. If nothing else restored my faith, this did. I thank god for the good results we got back and I thank each and every one of you as well. Take care and I love each and every one of you!!!!!

Glad to hear that it isn't his heart. Keep us informed when it comes time to get his tonsils out. I will throw another prayer his way then too.

Emelinda,

I'm so glad to hear that the results show that your son's heart is fine. Be sure to let us know when Bobby is scheduled for surgery.

I hope you will be able to get some rest now.

Hi Linda,
I was thinking on my walk this morning about Bobby and his weight problem. Many months ago a friend was telling me about a good eatting program they were using in the school systems with young children.
Basically it envolves teaching kids about good foods versus bad foods.
Good foods get a green light and foods you have to be careful about get a yellow lght and foods high in sugar and fat get a red light.
I will do some research on this and if I come across anything I think will be helpful I will pass it onto you.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?

I am with you Linda. I would rather deal with tonsils coming out than heart problems any day. He will be fine and the tonsils may be the direct cause of his sleep apnea. So this may fix that all together. Our generation is finally getting it about how to feed our kids better so that they don't get weight issues but its going to take a lot of time to get it out there for every child. At least there is a lot that can be done for Bobby now to help him grow up healthy before he gets problems. Many families get a lot healthier after Mom gets WLS or some other program to get healthy for herself. What Moms do does affect the whole family.
