Barbara:

I agree that these are huge wows. Those are remembrances from your grandma's and the memories last a lifetime. How good that must have felt to be able to wear these things after so many years. Your grandma's are smiling down on you and are so proud of you! We are too!

Barb those are wonderful WOW moments!  My grandmother who I was so close to and lived next door with my mother, prayed for me daily to lose weight.  I'm so thankful that she lived long enough to see me lose 100 pounds.  She died on June 6th and I miss her so dearly.  She was a huge influence in my life.  She gave me her sewing machine, one of the old Singers that you have to peddle.  I'll pass it on to my daughter one day.

My Mom has also told me how happy she is that I've lost the weight.  She has always been a bit heavy, but never obese like I was.  I love stopping by to see her when I'm in one of my size 10 suits!!!!  I can see the pride on her face and that means so much.

I would like to the think both your grandmothers have been watching over you on your journey.
As a gift from them to you were the slippers and jacket.
I would also like to think that for the minute you were able to put these items on that they were close to you and were able to share in your joy and delight.
I hope you wear the jacket to the next meetup I would love to see it.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.?
