Aw Hon,
I absolutely understand where you are coming from... We are in a similar boat and it can be pretty scary. I've had my share of sleepless nights lately, but as you say we can't control these things and can only do our best to deal with the hand we are dealt. I'm sure that this pregnancy will be a blessing, no matter the outcome of all the rest.
What does your DH do in the Marines? Is it something that might translate in the private sector. I know that when my Dad got out of the AF after 20 years he took some of his military training and was able to parlay that into a second career. There may well be some private sector positions that support military contracts that would be delighted to have his breadth and depth of experience with the military. You might want to tap RobinW on the shoulder and get her two cents. She works with people that are reworking their career and she might well have some suggestions. It might help to explore the possibilites until you know what will happen. The other thing, is that you may also want to see if there might be a 'separation package' if it does become necessary for him to leave the Marines.
Hang in there... I know it's easier said that done, but we are stronger and more resilient than we know.
Hugs,
Barbara

Hey Jamie,
Just my 2 cents - But in the civilian world diabetes is considered a disability with benefits, etc. The Marines are good to their own and I hope things work out well for you. I've also learned in my old age that there are some things we just can't change and worrying is not going to help. Another thing I always tell my daughter is ""nothing is ever as bad as you thinkit's going to be." I wish you the best of luck and peaceful days ahead.
Deborah
Hugs,
I will keep you and the whole situation in my thoughts and prayers. I know it's a scary time but things will work out! If your hubby is medically discharged just know something else will open up for him, I know it's scary but there will be a window open, maybe he could go to work for Cherry point as a civilian... who knows... Anyway, you're in my thougths and prayers!
