cross post -- left abdominal pain -- help?

Just tried to post this so forgive if it double posts, but here's the gist of what I am trying to say. 

Forget that I'm a nurse, on a bariatric unit.  I'd tell YOU to call your surgeon, and I'd be right to say it.  But right now, I need to hear y'all's opinions and experiences if you've gone through this.  

All day, I've had severe left abdominal pain, right under the rib cage.  I've eaten normally -- doesn't feel better or worse with eating or drinking.  I've gotten in all protein & fluids.  Normal bowel movement yesterday.  I've walked over 12,000 steps today, so even got in my exercise!  I am burping/passing gas normally -- never have an issue with that! -- and it doesn't relieve the pain.

I was diagnosed with cat scratch fever yesterday but had had no pain other than in my lymph nodes in my right groin and a headache. 

I have had NO complications with my bypass.  But has anyone experienced anything like this that was related to their bypass?  Or anything else?  

Sweetie, I don't know what it is, but I sure was glad to hear from you, although I wi**** had been with happier news.  You know what to do... don't put it off... take care of yourself!

I'm sure that you already have a call in to your Dr. I had a similar scenario last spring, but it was on right side and it was a kidney stone. Might want to have it checked.
