After almost too many years to count.. I think 12 or 13 since my hair was any shorter than shoulder length.. Today after loosing about half of it it seems I got it cut like some regular guy.. My neck sprang forward from the weight of the ponytail being chopped off lol. Anyway some folks have been looking at me like I had the measles or mumps even. It took my mother who for 12 or 13 years whined at me to cut it (she lives in her own world) 15 minutes to figure out it was.. My dad will forget it was long by breakfast tomorrow. Now I have to get gel and all the junk to keep it in place cause now I remember why I grew it out.. It always looked like a whirlwind hit it.. On a good note though the lady that does my hair is going to donate it to Locks of Love for somebody that could use it.. So all of yall that have had the weight loss hair removal deal I certainly understand the need for the make over. Ill have it all back in about the time i come off the honeymoon and hit goal in about a year.

That's cool Push.  My daughter did the same thing when she got her hair cut.  My husband and I were looking at your post and pictures and saw the beautiful country you live in.  Our plans are to retire in the Western part of the state.  His folks live in Franklin.  Glad things are going well for you.  Keep up the good work.

That is sooooo wonderful you donated it. When I first started reading the post, I thought, shoot, I wish I would have told him to.......and then I read you had. Good thing about haircuts.....they always grow back. I've been still loosing mine and I'm trying to grow it out from the mommy partridge cut, but kind of hard to do when 2 come out for every 1 grown. Anyway, hope to see some funky pics of the new you!

That's great that they're going to donate your hair.  I wait until I get enough to donate mine every time I cut it.  Hubby loves that because he knows I'll have it for a while until it grows and grows.

The best part is that usually when you get that much cut off it makes at least a tiny difference in your weight also.  :-)

What??? You reminded me of the rockers from my youth with your long hair. Especially from the southern rock bands. I definitely need to see a picture. I am glad to hear that you had it donated though. Enjoy the new you. btw, gel has a drying effect on hair and makes it look thinner. Try using another kind of product that is more like a palmade. It will look wonderful.
