I'm Back!

Thank you Thank you Thank you for all of the kind PM's and and words of "worry". I am fine. I hit a few walls with timing for my surgery, and had to take a break from constantly thinking about it. I got a little blue.

I still was around OH, but had to stick to places that didn't talk about surgery, ha ha. You guys care so much, that it hurt to talk about it. I know, pathetic. I'm sorry

But I am on track for surgery, hopefully in February. Couldn't come sooner.

Yay! You are back.  I missed seeing you around and was worried, but am oh so glad to see you back.  Remember, if things go slowly in getting the surgery that I understand all too well LOL.  Yup, I am still waiting and waiting and waiting.  I so hope to get a call back finally today, but who knows and who knows what they will tell me when I do finally hear.  I'm glad to hear you took care of your slow down and are now back on track.  Take care, and stick around now :-D

I was also staying away for awhile as I was very depressed that it was taking so long and my doctors office was not getting the paperwork done. Now I have an email today that they have sent everything to BCBS. I have to give them 2 weeks to see if I am approved or not.
It was very hard to come to OH when I was so down. I felt like I didn't belong. I know, silly, but that's how I felt so I know what you've been going thru.

FYI- I heard from BC/BS in about a week. I was totally surprised when I got the letter! Good Luck and Cheer up, you will be with us on the losers bench soon enough! I know you are getting anxious and are so ready to start losing, ,my prayers are with you! Good Luck!

Well I wondered where you had been? Good to hear from you.
 
I know what you mean about waiting.  About 2 months in I was told I couldn't have the surgery and for about a week I had given up on it and was very down in the dumps, so I didn't feel like getting on here and listening to so many success stories.  But, things managed to turn out ok.  The doctors discussed my case and decided that surgery would be best for me after all.  My date is January 28th.  Your date will be here before you know it.
