This is something that we both want to do and both desperately need to do. He had two inguinal hernias which he had one operated on last June. The docs told him until he loses over 100 lbs. they aren't going to operate on the other one. We are very supportive to one another and will continue to be however the wls goes. I know that Dr. Mitchell told us at the seminar we attended that it is best if our surgeries are scheduled at the least 4 months apart. Just so that we can take care of eachother. Thanks for asking!

Wishing you both all the best in whatever way you end up doing this. I would agree that it probably is best to space them out at least 4 months apart, because it takes about that long to really get back in the saddle... You certainly can get back to work after a few weeks, but I think that the first few months are kind of like shooting the rapids, so have a few months under your belt to normalize things makes a lot of sense.
