"dummy" date

I got a phone call from my doctors office this morning.  She told me that they have received a reference # from the insurance company and that they have a "dummy" date of Jan. 28.  She told me that she wanted to call me in case I received something in the mail and she didn't want me to get too excited yet (yeah, right!) because we still had receive info in writing from the insurance.  This is a step further than I was yesterday so I'm very excited!!!  And Jan. 28 is only two weeks after the date that I wanted so that's pretty good. 

On the not-so-good side, the past two weeks that I've been home (school's out) I have enjoyed myself as far as eating goes and have put on a couple of lbs.  I'm hoping once I get back to school and to a schedule I will drop those plus a couple more. 

A "Dummy" date?  I would have been so offended!  LOL 

Good luck to you!  I see from your profile that you're a school teacher.  If you have the State Health Plan (as I do), insurance approval will probably be no problem at all.  It wasn't for me.

Oh.. I am not ready to go back to school, but if I dont I will most certainly gain some weight.  I get bored to easily when we are out on break and you can seriously only clean so much.  LOL  

Congrats on the "dummy date"!

Tell me about it.  I'm so dreading Monday!  But I have to keep thinking that I will have a "break" in a few weeks and my kids will still be in school so it will be sooooo much better for me to heal.  I've been watching all of those New Year's "Fat people shows" as my husband calls them (Biggest Loser marathon, Celebrity Fit Club, Discovery shows, etc.).  Cannot wait for the time to get here!
