Start 2009 out on a good FOOT!!!
Ok my friends, let's all pledge to start 2009 off on the right foot, that means putting one foot in front of the other and get walking, running, playing on your Wii or whatever your exercise of choice is. They say what you do on Jan 1st you'll do the rest of the year so I just did 30 minutes on my treadmill.

And I have always heard that about the New Year Day activities. So I, too, am working on exercising. Have walked on the treadmill 30 minutes this morning and plan to read and cycle soon. Trying to decide about the other things that I need to do today. But mainly I want to concentrate on me and getting my mind straight for 2009.

What a lovely portrait of you and Ronnie. You can see the love you have for one another.
My mother got us a Wii Fit as a family gift this year. Ben, Sarah and I will be giving it a work out. I've also been raking leaves and walking. Ben and I will be walking together as we both work towards a healthier new year together.

I'm in! I walked 30 minutes tonight and night before last. I will be in the gym or walking in the neighborhood at least three times a week this year. I also plan on trying to kayak this spring and summer (my upper body strength has always been weak). DH bought the family a nice tent so we plan on taking some camping/hiking trips when it begins to warm up! There is so much to do right outside my front door and I want to take time to explore it all.

What a great post! I am obviously not working out in the way I'd like, but I did talk to a Dr this morning about what kinds of things I can safely do in bed and she promised to send a Physical Therapist to talk to me, so hopefully that can keep at least parts of me moving. :)
