I just don't know.

In the beginning of Nov. I had almost all of my saline removed from the band. Since then I have put on almost 15, yes, 15! pounds. I have been anxiously awaiting getting a fill so I can get back on track. I went to the dr. on Tuesday about a non wls issue and he noted my bp was up 158/102.. that's what it was years ago before they put me on the meds. Since loosing weight I had gone off of it, but I guess now with gaining, the bp came back. He put me back on meds. Fine. Since that day I have started getting a blah, run over by a truck feeling and my eyes hurt soo deep. I have a thundering migraine that will not go away. Last night I went to bed at 9, aftertaking my perscription meds, a tylenol pm and a mucinex. I woke at 12:30 with a thundering headache again. It is 6:30 am, an unheard of hour for me, and I can't sleep its so bad.The second half to this dilemma is I am due to leave for Chlt to get my fill. I was going to leave at 9 or so. My fill is tomorrow at 9,I don't know if I should get up and dressed and walk into the dr. at 9 when they open and have them take bp and get a shot for my migraine. Then I'm wondering if I should I leave for Charlotte? I thinK I have a little bug also, for I sweated all night(more than usual, lol) and my body has been aching the last day or so. I wish I had a book that told me what to do. Thanks for listening.Let me also add that I work the school system and I am just finishing 2 1/2 weeks vacation and it's not going to go over too well if I announce I need to take off next week.

I feel for you. I have experienced horrible migraines and they are not fun to say the least. I hope you are able to get some treatment that really works and find your sweetspot in your band fill again. I wish I had some advice but I don't.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are hurting... I used to suffer migraines regularly and I know that they can be absolutely vicious. I hope that you get the relief you need and that the fill will help with your weight and BP management.

As a person that also suffers from migraines I know how horrible they are. Sometimes even with all the drugs I have for them NOTHING gets rid of it. Im sorry you are in so much pain. Go get your fill girl and get back on track!! let me know if you need anything.

I hope by the time you read this that you are better.  There are a lot of viral bugs going around here and sounds like you have caught one of them.  Drink plenty of liquids and rest as much as you can.

Your blood pressure meds might not have had enough time to help your blood pressure much, but also with pain, blood pressure is usually elevated. 
What is the drive time to Charlotte for you?  Get that fill and then you will be back on the right track.  Some day when you are heading to Charlotte, we will have to plan a get together.  I am a little more than an hour from Charlotte - would love to meet you.

Gosh, Nance, you poor thing!!  Hopefully your BP meds aren't causing the headaches... that was my first thought... you may also be coming down with the flu... so sorry you are feeling like this!  A mucinex?  Are you congested?  You may have a sinus headache and that can hurt just like a migraine.  Or a sinus infection which would make you feel "wrong" as well.  Get your a$$ to the doctor's and get checked out, sweetie.  At least make a phone call to your doc and advise him or her of these symptoms.  Ditto on what Annie says!  And of course call me if I can be of any help.

Welp,,,,,seeing as the drive to the dr. area is 5 hours long, I called and left a message to cancel it. My major headache is gone, thank goodness, just a headache now. Yes, I have junk in my chect I hear rattling. As of right this very minute, (TMI) I have diarrhea. I guess I just really have a bug or something. My temp is elevated to 100.8 and I've got chills. I'm just staying cozy and letting this ride it's course. Went out early and got some chicken soup in a cup and some dayquil. Funny how we think we are all grown up untill we get sick or feel bad, then we want others close by to give up pleasant words to cheer us up.  I really appreciate it.  As much as I really really do need this fill, I DO NOT need to go to my stepfathers and contaminate him given all the surgeries and sickness he's had. So, everything for a reason. oh, btw, I really think I got this bug initally at the Dr. office on Tuesday!

I have migraines too.. and can well relate to your pain Nancy.  I hope you feel better soon.  :)  I will say a few prayers for you!
