well  I am 6 months out and feel  physically great. My blood work came back good and I have lost 67 lbs.

Why do I feel as though it is not enough? I am so afraid I am losing to slow and then I fear maybe I won't lose anymore. i know if I eat correctly and exercise i should lose but I fear I won't.
I am so afraid of gaining.

Does any one else go through these emotional thoughts?

I am so glad you are feeling great and you got back good lab results!  Can't wait until I am 6 months out.  I sincerely hope I can say the same as you!  :)

Also congratulations on your -67 pounds!  Honey, I so understand your doubt about that number being large enough.  If you're like me, you watch what other people that are losing faster and think, "Oh no!  What's wrong with me?!"

One of the things I worry about is if I go gang-busters with exercise that I KNOW I won't be able to keep up forever, that I'll drop the pounds fast and then when I slack off, the weight will start creeping back up.  I'm trying to do what I can as I can and ask myself, is this a forever thing?  If I don't feel it is, I don't do it.  If I don't enjoy it, I won't be able to do it forever.  Make sense?

Anyway!  I would just encourage you to stick with the "rules" about eating and get in some type of physical activity that you enjoy and can commit to for life for your health (mentally and physically!, not just losing weight now.

I keep telling myself that my body has it's own timeline and I will get "there" (wherever THERE is!) eventually.  :)  No need to beat myself up by comparing myself to others (hey...at least I TELL myself that!  lol).

Best wishes and keep in touch!  Hope you have a great New Year!

I am 3+ years out and hope I can offer some encouragement!!  The first 6 months were crazy...everyday the scale showed lower and lower but of course all good things must come to an end!!  You will lose more unless you just go ahead and completely sabatoge yourself.  We can drink enough calories in Cook Out milkshakes to stop ou weigh loss so just stick to your basic rules and get enough protein.  I about lived on string cheese and thin sliced turkey breast.
Remember that even if you can tolerate foods it doesn't mean you can eat them.  And now is also the best time to step up your exercise a bit.  Walk an extra 15 min each day.  Remember that this is just a tool and we must all still work at it!!  Wishing you the best and a happy healthy new year!!

I am 10 months out and your feelings are so normal.   You are doing awesome and if you break it down you have lost 67 lbs in 182 days or a pound every 3 days.  When have you ever consistently done this in the past?   As we get further out, the wt loss starts to slow down but from what I am told, that is also so normal.  I went through 2 months recently where i only lost 2 or 3 lbs but all of a sudden in the past 10 days, i have lost 3 lbs but it is all still a LOSS.

Remember if you follow the plan, you will continue to be a loser!!

Take care and good luck on your journey,

Pam
