Charlotte Area Meet-Up

Okay.. who is interested in meeting in the Charlotte area? 

Just give me a shout out..  tell me where are are driving from and we will try to choose a central location!  Also.. I am thinking a weekend..  so give me some details on your availability too.  :)

I am in and live in Huntersville which is 13 miles north of downtown Charlotte.   If Concord works for everyone, that is fine for me also since i know y'all have met there before.  I am available most weekends but the 17th, I am supposed to pick my mom up in OH and bring her back with me.  She is going to come spend the rest of the winter with us and my sis is driving her half way (she wants to bring her dog but doesn't want to fly..lol)  The problem is if the weather is bad up there with snow, we will have to try for the following weekend.   Just make plans when most can be available and hopefully, i'll be able to attend.

Count me in! I am in China Grove, about 30 min north of Charlotte on hwy85.  Uhm availabilty for me would be best on a Saturday like the 10th or the 24th of January...I AM STOKED TO MEET YALL!!!

Jen, I am game to meet in Concord but depending on the date...I may not be capable yet. My hernia and skin removal is Jan 8. I don't know when I will be mobile but if capable I will show up. I will be able to let you know better when you all decide a date. If I have to miss this one I will show up for the next.

My Mom was from Peachland! I still have alot of cousins there. I always loved going there when I was young. I used to go to Wadesboro alot when my grandfather was in the hospital. Of course that was almost 38 years ago.. WOW!! I'm old!!!!

It sure is a small world.  Anson County is a nice place to live.  I teach high school here and love it (even though I am not a native..  I am orginally from Hamlet)  Come visit Anson anytime.  I can show you around.  LOL

I remember I used to ride with my older cousins to this place in Marshville called the Wagon Wheel.
They liked to hang out there and flirt with guys. I was only about 10 or 12 and had to lay down and hide in the back seat if they met any cute ones hahahaha. I also remember I would go with them to Deep Springs Baptist Church. Me being Presbyterian, I remember giggling when some of them would yell out AMEN during the service.  We NEVER spoke out loud in our church.
I learned quite a bit visiting them lol

I'd love to come to Charlotte too again - miss seeing everyone! Concord is great for me too!
