For me, this has been really hard so far
Oh Cindy, my heart goes out to you. Yes, let's do commiserate together, shall we?
I have received numerous phone calls besides these messages and everyone keeps telling me (actually PROMISING me!), IT DOES GET BETTER!!! Hang on to those words with me, girlfriend, because we need them right now.
I think the bad in the beginning isn't highlighted as much because things end up turning out so good. I remember after giving birth thinking, "Oh my gosh, NEVER again!!!" With the first few weeks of sleepless nights, breasts cracking, vagina aching, hemhoroids killing..."NEVER AGAIN!!!" But what happens? Time passes and all I could do is think, "I want another baby!" lol Perhaps that's what happens post-op with this? At least that's my theory! ROTFL!!!
I also had a hard vomit experience a couple weeks ago where there was enough blood to induce me to call the surgical staff after hours. Since then I am scared senseless about it happening again! That surely doesn't help the nauseous feeling about food now does it?! Sounds like you are in the same boat. :(
Sad, tired, weak...yes, yes, yes. I'm not as sad today as I was yesterday, but I am sooo tired. Hubby, daughter and lil' man are at the gym now and all I could do was climb into my gown and into the recliner. The thought of just going to sit and watch him swim was going to take more energy than I could muster. My eyelids are heavy!
So, IT DOES GET BETTER...that's our new motto, Cindy! Keep me posted on how you are doing and I'll be sure to do the same! {{{Hugs!}}}

I don't have any words of wisdom, Sweetie, but I can only offer BIG hugs to you as you continue to learn to deal with this. I do believe thius will get better - it HAS to! You're in my thoughts -
